Getting to know each pup is my favorite part of what I do. Every dog has their own personality, their own little quirks—and I love them all. Seeing their progress and comfort with grooming over time is incredibly rewarding.

Bentley
Bentley may see himself as the family’s bodyguard, but grooming wasn’t always his strong suit. The sights, sounds, and handling were a bit overwhelming at first. Still, he never gave up. With each spa day, we worked through his concerns together and found ways to make him more comfortable.
Before long, Bentley started to build his confidence. While grooming still isn’t his favorite, he now handles it like a champ. He does have two simple requests: he likes to keep his dad in sight at all times, and he appreciates having his feelings respected. Whether he needs to whine it out, chat the whole time, or just relax quietly, Bentley expresses himself freely—and still lets me work my magic to keep him looking handsome.

Baxter
Baxter is pure joy in dog form. He’s never met a stranger and never seems to have a bad day. No matter what kind of day I’m having, the moment I see Baxter, everything feels a little brighter. His wild hair perfectly matches his feisty personality, and his habit of sneaking off with things definitely keeps his mom on her toes.
Baxter loves his spa days—with one important condition: plenty of hug breaks. And not just quick ones—they have to be meaningful. If he’s not busy sharing the love, he’s just not quite sure what to do with himself.
Baxter is this month's champion for always looking on the bright side.
