When I was a child, I saw a commercial for a dog grooming school and knew right then that it was the career I wanted. Life took me down a few different paths before I began my grooming journey in my forties, but that timing turned out to be a blessing.

Starting later in life has given me patience, adaptability, and a deeper understanding that I may not have had years ago. Those qualities shape the way I approach every dog that comes into my care.

To me, grooming is about much more than making a dog look beautiful. It’s also about their health, comfort, and overall well-being. I believe it’s important to build a strong working relationship with each dog’s owner, because communication plays a key role in providing the best care possible.

This is a judgment-free space. I understand that life gets busy, and sometimes brushing doesn’t happen as often as we’d like or it’s been a while since the last groom. Being honest about your dog’s at-home care helps us choose the best grooming style for your dog and your lifestyle.

After each appointment, I’ll share how the groom went—from behavior to coat condition—so we can work together to make each visit better than the last.

Continuing education is also very important to me. The grooming industry is always evolving, and I love learning new techniques, understanding behavior more deeply, and discovering tips that help improve the care I provide.

I’m truly passionate about animal care and constantly strive to learn more so I can be the best possible groomer for your pup.
